Welcome!
Specializing in relationship issues, reproductive psychology, and adoption for more than 20 years, I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in private practice. I try to help people feel accepted and heard, so that they can discover more fully who they are and how they want to be in the world and with others. I work with individuals, couples, and families, many of whom are looking for more authentic relationships, based on trust and secure attachment. By providing a safe, respectful, and confidential space, and time to connect, I support people in finding their way through challenging situations. Some examples of these are:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Loss of connection with self
- Identity issues: Who am I? What am I to do?
- Intimacy, connection and security in relationship
- Grief
- Physical or emotional trauma
- Healing reproductive wounds or losses, including infertility or traumatic birth experience
- The decision to adopt
- The transition from woman to mother; from couple to parents
- Promoting secure attachment for children and their parents
- Unplanned pregnancy
- Search and reunion of disconnected family members
- Parenting choices, especially when children are challenging
